This guitar will require some work or repair to be 100% playable. It is listed in the parts non working category but with a few monitor adjustments, it will play. It will need an intonation adjustment, new strings perhaps neck adjustment and possibly more. I want to make sure you understand that this is not a brand new guitar.
It is a used guitar that has had the fretboard scalloped. The action is really low on it and the saddles are most of the way down. I think a very simple tweak and adjustment of the saddles and neck will make a world of difference. With that said the guitar is very playable and electronics seem to work.

This wood underneath the finish is absolutely gorgeous, and what I have learned is BC Rich took some very nice KOA and then paint it over it. It's a factory finish!
The previous owner had a very large guitar collection from the late'70s into the early'80s. He had the fretboard scalloped, stripped the finish off the back of the neck, thank God he did so you can see the beautiful wood underneath that. My plan for the guitar was going to be to have it professionally stripped of the paint and a new fretboard put on it. But that was just my plan for it. These are super rare guitars only made 1982!
This was listed under the BC Rich II. The serial number is stamped in the back of the headstock and is hard to read. This is called the tremolo model and you can find some pictures or ads if you look hard enough online. There's almost zero information on the internet about these guitars. That is how rare this guitar is. Yes it needs some work, but in the end you will have an incredibly rare BC Rich USA made guitar! The input jack has some static and is a bit loose.
It comes with the original hard shell case which has a broken latch and the second latch closes but is missing apart. Other than the latches the guitar cases in decent shape. By purchasing this guitar you understand this guitar will require some additional work and repairs.
