Lasonic TRC-975 Jumbo Boombox Ultra Rare Vintage Ghetto Blaster 1988
Don't sleep on your chance to have this Lasonic TRC-975 Boombox in your collection! This Radio is a classic and for 32 years old in pretty good used condition. I have tested and inspected the radio and found that Cassette players both function. Side A- the door is loose which is probably affecting how the cassette is playing but all the buttons are there and they all function. Cassette B functions well but the sound is muffled will definitely need some cleaning looks pretty dusty.
Actually both cassette areas look pretty dirty It will need cleaning but both play the only button that is not functioning on cassette B is the rewind button. Also all pots and switches will need to be cleaned as there is crackling static when using some of the buttons and knobs. The only other thing that I can think of as far as functionality is the mic mix volume dial is missing. Other than that this box is pretty solid and in good condition for the age. Don't think that the antennas are original but they do tuck in to fit nicely allowing the handle to fold over the top.
