Guaranteed to be as described and satisfaction guaranteed, this is a very nice AND ULTRA RARE Rolex watch. It is the Rolex Oyster Perpetual model 6500 watch. I have never seen another model 6500 in person. If you search the entire internet you will find pictures of only two others. Of the two others I can find only one has it's serial number listed and it also is in the 919, xxx range leading me to believe that very, very few of these were made, possibly under 1,000. It is a transitional watch with the square shaped lug notch like a Bubbleback, but larger and having the cal 1030 non-Bubbleback movement. It has its original BREVET + winding crown still. Model number 6500 serial 919xxx c. This watch will come with our sales receipt with model number, serial number, and authenticity noted. It will also come our Certificate of Authenticity (COA). We do not have the original box and manuals with this watch. At the time of the listing the Perpetual winding Rolex signed cal 1030 movement sweeping seconds hand was fully inspected and it is running fine.

The case and bracelet have been professionally polished and satin finished recently. The case measures 34 mm wide excluding the crown (it's an average sized mens watch for the time period, smallish by today's standards). The lamb leather strap is a brand new non-Rolex made ZRC brand replacement. The dial has been refinished and is properly done.

We do not have the original box and manuals. The pictures have been taken from every angle and represent the watch well, in fact they are 3x magnified, the dial is beautiful, and the watch is polished to a perfect shine. Any imperfections you see in the shine are just reflections the camera caught. Every watch comes with our sales receipt and Certificate Of Authenticity each with the watches serial number, model number and description stated. This is a beautiful example of this model.
