Clean guitar with mystery bridge, a few replaced tuners and missing pickguard. Plays and sounds great and fun short scale You'll love the feel of the Epiphone EB-0 four-string bass guitar, with its shorter-scale 30.5 mahogany neck that's perfect for fast players, beginners, and guitarists that only occasionally play bass. And not only does the shorter scale make the EB-0 bass effortless to play, it packs your harmonics closer together for a vibrant and lively tonality. It's a great balance to the warm, solid low end with rich sustain you get from the mahogany body. So get a bass that's packed with tone and is remarkably easy to play.

Beautiful clean and all original killer super rare Vintage 1965 Fender Jazz Bass Custom Color Daphne Blue in amazing shape. Custom Color Fenders always get attention but this brilliant ultra rare Daphne Blue 1965 Jazz Bass is a special find with no other visible examples extant.

Fender kept shitty ledgers so we'll never know how many there were but this beauty is a rare bird for sure. This bass authenticates perfectly for a transitional model from the year CBS took over from Leo in 1965.

Neckplate serial #, neck date stamp, neck pocket mandrel mark, potentiometer codes, correct pickups pots and wiring, utterly intact pristine solder joints, and the paint and buffing compound in the body routes all confirm that the guitar came from Fullerton with the custom color as presented here. Neck is the transcendent thin Jazz bass fretboard that is so iconic and playable with darn near zero wear visible on the frets or laminated Rosewood fretboard. Neck back has some light chair nuggies on the flaky nitro but most is worn satin smooth and plays like lightening. Most vibrant baby blue on this baby and the front of the bass is near perfect.
From the back view, looks like two standard doofus strap-fail drops on the two lower back side rims as shown in the images. Otherwise, the overall finish on the instrument is excellent with few defects. The headstocks on many of these were the only part of the guitars oversprayed with clear nitrocellulose lacquer and you can see the characteristic finish checking and yellowed aging on this one. As this body on this one wasn't clear coated, the two finishes show a great mojo and this thing just won't quit being cool.
Plays and sounds just great with the punchy and great range of tones and tambres these are so famous for. Tremendous opportunity on a super rare find for this color back in the 1960s. We oftentimes have seen these custom colors made by Fender as special orders for customers who wanted to match the colors of the other guitars in their band which was the custom of the time.

Not hard to see a daphne bass order from that era with all the baby blue Mustangs that were made during those years! Amazing one for your collection! All international sales are final.
