Ultra rare, historic vintage Slingerland Radio King 6.5 x10 BDP tom tom drum

  

Here is a super rare and historic 6.5 x10 Radio King tom tom from the late 1930's. In addition to it being a VERY rare size, it has the "Mathers Drum Center" logo on the calf head. Bill Mather was Gene Krupa's NYC drum technician, who did repairs and alterations for him. Additionally, there are price notations written on the inside of the head. The original mount was changed from the early #1250 Rotary holder to a diamond plate, so the writing may be pricing for the alteration. Vent hole was added at some point in its history.
