Ultra Rare! Vintage 1970's 17 AA African American Uneeda Jennifer Doll WOW

I have been a Jennifer doll lover for years, however, have never come across an African American Jennifer and so was very excited when I found this special girl. She is by Uneeda from the 1970's and stamped appropriately at the back of her head and back. Her head and arms are a softer vinyl and her torso and legs are a hollow plastic with joints-same construction as the other Jennifer dolls. All of her joints are firmly attached and have no problem being lifted and holding poses without falling. I didn't see any damage to note or any bad odors. I believe she is in very nice, pre-loved condition. I did notice some pink specks at the face which appear to be the same color as her cheeks. I lubricated her face with Lubriderm after this. Not sure if it was necessary but I didn't want to run the risk of the alcohol drying out the vinyl in any way. Something else I feel obligated to note, when I received this darling girl she was missing a section of hair plugs at the back section, underside of her hair. I worked with the Doll Planet to match up the existing and have re-rooted this area and curled it to blend. Please see the close up picture of the top hair lifted at the back to see the new hair. Her hair is easily brushed and does not have an issue of falling out and there are now no missing hair plugs that I could see. I believe her groovy floral dress originally belonged to an 18 Tuesday Taylor doll friend from the same era. It also seems to be in nice, pre-loved, clean condition with ties at the neck and 3 working snaps down the back. Love the hood and peek-a-boo openings at the sleeves!
