Function - Form and STYLE with this rare box! In overall nice condition for it's age - the lock combination must have been misplaced, making for it's issue with the lock/closure! Appears to have been forced opened, so now the combination/closure does not function. The box will not stay closed for carrying! Brass fittings protect the bottom. The underside has some discoloration... And also a few scuffs scattered about... Lifting the lid is where the beauty shines through! TONS of boxes and spaces!!!! Gucci Green velvet is in all the compartments - very lovely! A tray lifts out by little brass handles... More green velvet storage compartments - 4 - with velvet "blankets" which cover and protect! Thoughtfully has areas for everything - rings - watches - bracelets! Slight storage odor currently - but should air the sunshine! It will add a nice touch to your dressing area...
