Vintage ADLER model electric 21d. EXTRA WIDE CARRIAGE at 18! I believe it was made in the late 1960's to early 1970's. Very very heavy steel construction. Weighs in at just under 51lbs.
Such a fantastic retro look to it! Ribbon for this can still be found online. CONDITION: The body has some patina such as scratches and scuff marks. The German eagle and "ADLER" text are proudly displayed on the front and look great. The cord has no shorts and is not dried out.
The typewriter sits nice and upright with no wobble. The two paper support bars extend as they should and are not bent. The current ribbon is dried out and will need replaced. IMPORTANT: The typewriter was ahead of its time and has several functions... I will be more than happy to test a specific function per your request.... The internals may need cleaned for it to be 100% functional. Some of the keys strike better than others. The condition was fully disclosed above.
