Omega Speedmaster 105.002 Vintage Ultra Rare Ref. It is running well now and keeping very good time. The operating lever spring that is part of the chronograph had failed and has been replaced with a new, genuine Omega part. As a result, the chrono starts, stops, and resets as it should.
The minute counter works as it should, and the hour counter appears to work fine, but the hour counters are notorious for "creep" so I'll make no guarantee as to its resetting. This is a rare opportunity to own one of these at this price. You may find more photos there, too.

I received this in a trade a few years ago, and I believed then and now that the indices (at least a few of them) have been re lumed, and the hands were probably done to match. This has become an accepted practice if disclosed, as it can make a dial much more attractive without refinishing the dial, and the new lum can be removed if ever someone had that desire. I have been wearing this for a few days. It is very attractive on the wrist.

Clearly, the bezel is a recent service bezel, but the dial, case, movement are correct. The hands are also original and correct. This watch has been polished, as is true of the vast majority of watches from this era. Bottom line: How often do you see one for sale near this price point in any condition? In top shape, it's worth upwards of 35k.
