You are looking at an unbelievably rare Rolex reference 2546 in solid 9K Gold from around 1932, in all original, fully serviced condition. The pictures speak for themselves: the overall cosmetic and mechanical condition of the watch is very good.
It has been fully serviced about a year ago by a European master-watchmaker. The watch measures 30mm across, not including the crown, and 36mm lug to lug. The central hooded lugs on this watch paired with the cushion shape case are not only a highly unusual design by Rolex, but they also present a unique type of appearance on the wrist.
The original champagne/gold dial shows signs of natural ageing, as pictured. You will see hundreds of vintage Paul Newman and other type Daytonas, let alone the millions of run of the mill Rolexes, before you see one of these on the market anywhere in the world.
