ULTRA RARE ATOMIC AGE AC Gilbert Seafoam Polar Cub Fan. WORKS READ 1950s Vintage
This ultra stunning and ultra rare AC Gilbert is from the 50s. It's atomic space aged. I found some old ads regarding this fan. This one appears to be the model A2000 as mentioned in the ad. The HIGH Speed and MEDIUM Speed works flawlessly.
The LOW speed DOES NOT spin the blades. Again LOW SPEED DOESNT work but medium and high work wonderfully and the high speed is impressive.
So impressive I'd say it's better than fans made today. I was shocked how amazing it spun and with such force! The fan tilts up and down. It is about 15 inches tall and 15 inches wide.
There is a chip seen in photos on fan cover. I circled it for you to view. There is also a small crack on the fan face grill that is also circled. The knob (for speed settings) also has some. Chipping very small but noted. It works as intended and works fine regardless. It isn't even very visible at all..
I was able able feel it. Not see it that's how miniscule. Mine is beautiful as seen. Gorgeous seafoam color and an absolute must for any MCM or Atomic age collector. I planned on keeping it in my collection but figured someone who collects AC Gilberts would adore it as much as I did finding it in the wild. Oil cap is still intact which is incredibly rare as well. It's in fabulous condition! Does not come with old newspaper ad. This item is in the category "Toys & Hobbies\Vintage & Antique Toys\Play Sets".
