Ultra Rare Star Wars Clarks Shoes Styrofoam Store Display Vintage 1979 Clark's

  

I guess I have the 4th! This was on display in 1979 - 1980 at Dillard's in Corpus Chrsti, Tx I went to the mall with my parents as a kid, and left my name and number and asked them to call me back when they were done with it and please give it to me. I had forgotten all about it, when they called and gave it to me. It is NOT mint, what you see is what you get. It was on display at the store for approximately one year before I got it, and I've had it for about 40 years!

I didn't display it the whole time, but at least 10 years. The'R' was broke off when I received it, and my pop glued it back and it held for years, but at some point the glue failed. I did NOT try to clean it very much, just dusted it off. At one point it was in my closet on a shelf, and I also collect Coca Cola memorabilia, and an old can or bottle somehow leaked and got the bottom wet / stained with coke. Please see pictures, I tried to show the defects as best I could, so some pictures seem dark, as lightening them minimized the damage.

Please remember this was out in the store for kids to touch and abuse in the store, and I've had it 40 years and moved probably 12 times since then. I've tried to keep it in the best shape possible for you.

I've been saving it for you, and now it can be yours! I intend to wrap in brown kraft paper, then put that in plastic trash bag sealed, then put that in a snug box, then surround with packing peanuts at least 2" - 3" around all sides, and put in another box. I can take additional pictures, if you wish.
