Ultra RARE Vintage LEVI'S Sagebrush Christmas Stocking NEW w/ Tag. This is an incredibly rare find - and it's brand new with the tag. Levi's Christmas stocking has the Levi logo on the front as a jean pocket, which can be opened. Cute idea to put a gift card in since it would fit nicely. At the time that this was. There were only gift certificates in paper form! There is a loop on the top edge for hanging. Color is a deep denim blue. Comes from a smoke free home. I live in the West Michigan area, home to Meijer Stores.

In the 80's we had a Sagebrush store (conveniently located in front a Meijer store) where you could go for the best "expensive" clothes. Below is an exert about Meijer and their ventures.

I have heard of Copper Rivet but have never been to one. In addition to the original Meijer supermarkets and hypermarkets, Meijer opened several concept stores in the 1970s and 1980s. The first were specialty clothing store chains called Copper Rivet, Sagebrush, and Tansy. All three chains usually operated in front of existing Meijer stores, or in nearby shopping centers. These clothing chains were dissolved in the 1980s as brand-name clothing became more readily available at competing retailers. Sagebrush, which at its peak comprised 71 stores. I believe this stocking is from the 1980's but cannot be completely sure since the tag doesn't contain any dating.
