Vintage 1938 Men's GRUEN BURTON Pre Curvex! Cal-500. Ultra Rare Grail Piece

Ultra-Rare Men's GRUEN from the year 1938! This model is named BURTON and have yet to see another come up for sale, truly a Grail piece. Rectangular mineral crystal in super condition, no cracks or chips. Truly outstanding two tone dial, light and dark silvery cream colour. Black dial printing, gold plated Arabic markers, original gold plated moon hands! Dial is in super condition, perhaps a old restoration. Rectangular case, this piece features engraved works to its sides, a rare option on the BURTON, Most only ever came in a polished finish. No cracks or chips or heavy wear through plate.

Case back retains its brushed finished. 20mm in width without crown. 21.20mm in width with crown. 44mm in length lug to lug. 13.30mm bracelet fitted from the 1930's, made by Kreisler, some links have been repaired on it, strap can be extended on clasp, used worn condition.

13.50mm leather strap will fit this. Cal-500 Gruen signed movement, this is the pre curvex movement. High quality, 17 jewels Swiss-Made. Running well and keeping time. Completely unpolished, has not been serviced, it is not waterproof.
