Vintage Midge Fly Reel Abbey & Imbrie NY Fly Julius Vom Hofe Ultra Rare
Ultra Rare 2 1/8, Half Handle, Tiny #4, Fly Reel, highest quality, midge trout reel of German Silver and hard rubber with aluminum spool plate sides. Removable rear bearing/ oil cap. Stamped ABBEY & IMBRIE N. Y, on the handle plate.
Markings are faint but legible with glass. In very good original condition with only a tiny hair line near a top screw and some chipping at one of the foot screws The handle plate also shows light, rotary, handle scrape marks. The N/S trim rings are decorated with trim lines. Reel works perfect and is suitable for use with 1 or 2 line.
