Vintage Seiko AGS 7M22 ULTRA RARE

The Seiko AGS series is a fascinating piece of history - In this type of clockwork, what I like to call a quartz & automatic combo - the watch can run even if the battery runs out - since it winds the spring when it is in motion. The capacitor is charged by the AGS (Automatic Generating System). The watch has been safely stored and unworn for years as part of a collection. The watch runs when in motion but the the battery is out. The power reserve is approx. 72 hours when fully charged. When the power reserve runs out, the second hand jumps in 2-second steps. Time display: 3 hands and date. Estimated Size : 44 x 40 mm (with crown - perfect size). Case: Stainless steel with screwed glass bottom. Pictures are part of the description.
