Vintage ULTRA RARE English Made 9Ct Pink Gold Ladies Watch with 9Ct Bracelet
This RARE Gem of a 9K Pink Solid Gold Ladies Watch is "Native British" Made, Cased and Stamped with the "Leopard's Head" indicating as such; dating this watch to the 1920's. Inside Case shows the Maker's Mark of "LA" (Louis Arnold) which was originally Registered in. Of 1919 under the name of Crown Watch Case Company Limited. " To avoid any potential confusion with the Monarchy based on the companies physical proximity to the Buckingham Palace, Louis Arnold was forced to re-register under a different name only two months after his first initial registration (June 1919) with the name "Louis Arnold City Watch Case Company, Ltd.
This is NOT your everyday Luxury wristwatch, but actually meant to be worn on very Special occasions. Treat it as such and you may just preserve it for another 100 YEARS! The above "Condition Description" pretty much says it all. As with ALL my Vintage Watches I would certainly recommend once again a cleaning & lubrication and after that, wear it occasionally, wipe it down clean with a jewelers cloth and put it away in a safe place for another day of enjoyment! While I do not address timing accuracy on the Vintage Watches I sell, I do go to great lengths inspecting, researching and describing each timepiece to the best of my ability.
